Getting Started
What is SerionFlow?
SerionFlow is an evidence led SEO, AEO, and GEO intelligence system. It confirms the market, maps competitors, and turns search, technical, backlink, answer engine, and sampled AI evidence into a ranked opportunity backlog and brand matched pages on your own domain. A controlled weekly intelligence loop keeps the next best move visible.
What happens when I create my first project?
Adding a project saves your domain, market context, and competitors. Research begins only when you choose Scan & Generate. That one workflow reads the site and sitemap, builds Brand DNA and a template, checks the market, and creates an evidence-backed content plan for review. Nothing is published during the scan.
Does SerionFlow replace my website?
No. Your main site stays in place. Vercel and Cloudflare serve approved pages through a controlled path such as /explore. Custom DNS uses a dedicated subdomain and its configured page path. Your homepage, product pages, CMS, and existing content remain yours.
Do I need engineering help to start?
You can scan, review opportunities, generate drafts, and edit pages without engineering. Publishing needs a one-time route setup. Vercel or Cloudflare may need a routing update; Custom DNS only needs one CNAME record for a dedicated subdomain. SerionFlow guides each supported path step by step.
Why does SerionFlow scan my website?
The scan helps SerionFlow understand the existing domain, sitemap candidates, navigation, brand context, page structure, and content patterns. This lets the platform recommend pages and generate drafts that fit the project instead of acting like a generic text generator.
How soon will I see SEO, AEO, and GEO results?
Your keyword plan, technical checks, and content work begin during setup. After approved pages are published and crawled, long-tail SEO queries and early visibility in answer and generative search can begin to show signals in 1–3 weeks. More competitive, high-authority terms commonly need 4–16 weeks to earn traction, and broader organic growth often compounds over 3–6 months. Timing depends on your site’s existing authority, technical health, competition, links, publishing consistency, and how each search or AI system discovers and evaluates pages. Use the dashboard to follow indexing, visibility, and performance.
Section 2
Page Generation
What is the difference between an opportunity and a generated page?
An opportunity is a recommended page idea based on demand, competitor gaps, search intent, template fit, or a SerionFlow-suggested page archetype. A generated page is the actual SerionFlow page created from that opportunity. Opportunities can be approved, rejected, generated into drafts, published live, paused, regenerated, or deleted depending on status.
What is the initial launch batch?
The launch batch is a one-time first-project generation flow. It creates private review drafts from the strongest evidence-backed opportunities. You preview, edit, and publish only the pages you choose. After the launch batch, normal weekly and plan-based limits apply.
Can I preview pages before they go live?
Yes. Draft pages are designed to be previewed before publishing. Users can review the generated content, inspect page quality, regenerate drafts, and open Serion Studio for deeper edits before making pages live.
What happens when I publish a draft?
Publishing changes the page status from review to live. Live pages become available through the configured SerionFlow route, count as live pages, and are included in the generated sitemap.
What happens when I pause a live page?
Pausing changes the page from live to paused. The public route stops serving it, and the generated sitemap is refreshed so the paused page is no longer included. The page remains in the project and can be unpaused later.
What happens when I delete a live page?
Deleting removes the generated page from SerionFlow and refreshes the generated sitemap. The linked opportunity is kept available so it can be generated again later if it still makes sense. Search engines may take time to drop URLs they already discovered.
Does regenerating a draft publish it automatically?
No. Regeneration creates a fresh private draft from saved project context and template logic. It does not rescan the website and does not publish the regenerated page until a user publishes it.
Section 3
Routing and Hosting
Which hosting platforms does SerionFlow support?
SerionFlow supports Vercel, Cloudflare, and Custom DNS routing today. Custom DNS is ideal when you want a dedicated subdomain for generated pages and can add one CNAME record. If your host is not listed, contact us so we can advise on the safest route for your setup.
How does Custom DNS routing work?
Choose Custom DNS in Integration and SerionFlow gives you one CNAME record for a dedicated subdomain. After DNS propagates, SerionFlow verifies the connection and serves generated pages beneath that project’s configured path on the dedicated hostname. There is no token to paste or code to deploy, and your main website remains separate.
Why does SerionFlow need routing setup?
Search engines and visitors must be able to access generated pages at a verified public address. Vercel and Cloudflare route a path such as /explore/* and its sitemap on your site. Custom DNS serves that route on its dedicated hostname.
Why can’t Vercel always update routing automatically?
Some Vercel projects need a small repository update before SerionFlow pages can appear under the customer domain. When that is needed, SerionFlow prepares the update and can open a GitHub pull request for review.
What does the GitHub setup PR do?
For Vercel projects, the setup PR adds the secure routing needed for SerionFlow pages and the sitemap to load under the customer domain. Sensitive routing values are kept out of the repository. After the PR is merged and Vercel redeploys, SerionFlow can verify the live route and make the generated sitemap ready for submission.
Does the proxy route need to be public?
Yes. Production proxy routing must reach SerionFlow from a public HTTPS customer-domain path. Localhost cannot be used for customer-domain production routing because Vercel, Bing, and Googlebot cannot reach your local machine.
What is the health check route?
SerionFlow verifies a route such as /explore/__serionflow_health_check to confirm that customer-domain routing is live before treating the sitemap and page publishing workflow as ready.
Section 4
Search Console, Bing, and Sitemaps
What sitemap does SerionFlow generate?
SerionFlow generates a sitemap for live SerionFlow pages only. It is served on the verified public route, usually at a path like /explore/sitemap.xml on your domain or dedicated Custom DNS hostname.
Does SerionFlow overwrite my existing sitemap?
No. Existing customer sitemaps are discovered and shown as context, but SerionFlow does not overwrite them. The generated SerionFlow sitemap is separate and contains only live generated pages.
Why does the sitemap sometimes show zero URLs?
The SerionFlow sitemap only includes live generated pages. If all pages are drafts, paused, deleted, or not published yet, the sitemap can correctly show zero URLs.
What does Submit sitemap to Google Search Console do?
It submits the generated SerionFlow sitemap URL to the connected Google Search Console property. This is only available after GSC is connected, routing is verified, and there is at least one live page.
What GSC data does SerionFlow use?
SerionFlow uses Search Console performance data across the connected verified site, including clicks, impressions, CTR, position, crawl and indexing signals, and submitted sitemap data where available. Whole-site totals power the performance view and weekly growth update; SerionFlow-generated pages remain separately linked for attributable impact reporting.
What does Bing add?
Pro and Agency users can connect Bing Webmaster Tools to submit eligible changed URLs directly to Bing and automatically notify the shared IndexNow network, including Amazon, Naver, Seznam.cz, Yandex, and Yep. SerionFlow also syncs Bing clicks and impressions and can surface AI-related query signals.
Why do I need to connect the correct GSC property?
Search Console data and sitemap submission depend on the selected property. SerionFlow should use the matching site or domain property, such as sc-domain:example.com, so analytics and indexing workflows operate against the right domain.
Section 5
Growth Loop
What is the Growth Loop?
The Growth Loop is SerionFlow’s recurring SEO, AEO, and GEO recommendation system. It reviews Google Search Console, Bing when connected, generated pages, market evidence, page status, and crawl health to recommend distinct new pages, content improvements, metadata updates, or technical follow-ups.
Does the weekly flywheel publish changes automatically?
Not by default in review first workflows. Recommendations are created for review. If a workspace enables automation, some actions may be generated or published according to that mode. The UI shows the current automation mode so users understand what will happen.
What does Approve mean in weekly recommendations?
Approve means the user accepts the recommendation as valid and wants to keep it in the plan. Approval alone does not necessarily change the live site.
What does Apply mean in weekly recommendations?
Apply means execute the approved recommendation. Depending on the recommendation type, it may create a draft, regenerate or improve a page, update metadata, or queue an action for review.
Why is manual refresh limited?
Manual refreshes use live search and site analysis, so each plan includes an allowance. The scheduled weekly run is the default; use a manual refresh after meaningful changes such as connecting Search Console or Bing, publishing a launch batch, or updating templates.
Should I run the flywheel manually?
Use manual refresh after something meaningful changes, such as connecting GSC or Bing, publishing a launch batch, merging routing setup, changing templates, or making a major site update. Otherwise, the weekly scheduled run is the main system.
Will I receive weekly search performance updates?
Yes, when Weekly search growth updates are enabled in Settings. The report compares Google and Bing separately over the latest complete 7 days versus the previous 7, then shows what the Growth Loop found or queued. SerionFlow waits for enough complete history before making a growth claim, so new or partial connections receive a clear baseline update instead.
Section 6
Billing and your data
How do page limits work?
Plans control how many new pages can be generated in the relevant period. The first launch batch is a one-time project setup benefit, then normal plan limits apply for ongoing generation and flywheel actions.
Does SerionFlow need broad repository access?
No. The preferred GitHub App flow uses selected repositories and scoped permissions for code and pull requests so SerionFlow can open routing setup PRs. Users choose the repository during installation.
Can I disconnect integrations?
Yes. Where the app supports it, you can disconnect integrations from SerionFlow. You can also revoke access directly inside providers such as Google, GitHub, or Vercel.
Can users delete their data or request a copy?
Yes. Signed-in users can download a JSON export and delete their workspace from Settings. You can also email contact@serionflow.com to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. We may confirm your identity before account-level changes.
Does SerionFlow sell personal data?
No. SerionFlow uses user and project data to operate the product, provide support, secure the platform, process billing, understand product usage, and improve reliability. Optional preference and marketing cookies are controlled through Cookie Settings.
Where do I send privacy or policy questions?
Email contact@serionflow.com or use the contact form. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Settings for details. Please do not send passwords or private keys through the form.
